General Terms and Conditions

Yoga Retreats / Yoga Weekends

Registration for a yoga retreat must be made in writing by the participant (booking via this website or by e-mail). The participant will then receive a confirmation of registration. Unused dates cannot be made up. A (weekend) course or yoga retreat will take place if the minimum number of participants has been reached. In the event of cancellation by Pura Vidya, the amount paid will of course be refunded in full.

 

Cancellation & right of withdrawal

After receipt of the invoice or confirmation of the booking, the participant has a general right of cancellation of 14 days. Cancellation must be made in writing. The date of the withdrawal/cancellation request to Pura Vidya is decisive. The full participation fee is due within 14 days of booking.

 

Cancellation policy for yoga weekends (2 nights or 3 nights)

 - For cancellations up to 4 weeks before the start of the yoga weekend, 75% of the amount paid will be refunded. In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the start, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded, thereafter no refund of the participation fee is possible.

- Rebooking to another travel date can be granted on a goodwill basis, please contact us in writing.

 

Cancellation policy for yoga retreats (1 week, e.g. Ibiza/Italy)

 - For cancellations up to 8 weeks before the start of the yoga retreat, 75% of the amount paid will be refunded. In the event of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded. In the event of cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start, 25% of the amount paid will be refunded, thereafter no refund of the participation fee is possible.

- Non-cancellable amounts can be converted into a credit voucher on a goodwill basis; please contact us in writing.

- If the yoga retreat or yoga weekend is cancelled by Pura Vidya, we will of course refund 100% of the money.

- On request, the participant will receive an invoice for submission to a travel insurance company.

 

Liability

- Pura Vidya is liable for the proper functioning of the course materials provided by us.

- Pura Vidya is not liable for damage to items brought along, nor for damage to health suffered by members as a result of participating in the courses offered, nor for accidents caused by the participants themselves.

- The instructions of the course instructor must be followed.

- Known acute or chronic illnesses must be reported to the respective instructor before the yoga class.

- We do not accept any liability for any clothes or valuables brought along.

- Glass bottles and food may not be taken into the classrooms.

 

Other agreements

Pura Vidya may amend these terms and conditions. The changes will be announced on this page. The place of jurisdiction is Goslar.

 

Information and recommendations

Each participant in yoga classes/journeys/courses is responsible for his/her own state of health and physical strain. The medical risk is borne solely by the participant. In the event of illness, pregnancy and after operations, consultation with the attending physician is recommended. The participant carries out all exercises on his/her own responsibility. Participants are also encouraged to skip exercises that they find too difficult or to ask the yoga teacher to modify them.

 

Mandatory information on assessments

We do not carry out separate checks on reviews to ensure that the reviews presented are actually from consumers. All visitors to our website can submit reviews for our products. The submission of reviews is not tied to a user account or similar. Obviously fake reviews will be removed manually.

 

Final provisions

Should individual provisions of this contract be invalid or unenforceable or become so after conclusion of the contract, this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the contract. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that comes as close as possible to the economic objective pursued by both contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision. § Section 139 BGB shall not apply.
